Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Submission of Manuscripts

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in English with a cover letter
  • MS Word (all versions) files are preferred. Manuscripts prepared with other software and computers may export the full text (with figures, schemes and tables inserted into the text) to a MS Word format (either for Macintosh or for Windows).
  • Check in your cover letter whether you supplied at least 3 referees.

Manuscript Components

Include a title page, abstract, keywords, text(introduction, experimental part, results and discussions and conclusions), acknowledgement, references, and as appropriate, figure legends, tables, and figures.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts should be prepared with a MS word processor.
  • Journal references must cite thus:

[3] Mao, J. G.; Song, L.; Huang, X. Y. and Huang, J. S. Polyhedron 1997, 16, 963.
[4] Prasad, T. K.; Rajasekharan, M. V. and Costes, J. P. Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2007, 46, 2851.

 

  • Authors' full address, homepage address, phone and e-mail address can be included in the title page and these will be published.
  • A list of three to five keywords must be given, and placed after the Abstract.
  • Authors are encouraged to prepare figures and schemes in color. Full color graphics will be published free of charge.
  • Tables should be inserted into the main text, and numbers and titles for all tables supplied. All table columns should have an explanatory heading.
  • Please supply legends for all figures, schemes and tables. The legends should be prepared as a separate paragraph of the main text and placed in the main text before a table and after a figure or a scheme.
